Retail trade of non-food products, excluding automotive fuel retailing, increased by 16.2%, but automotive fuel retailing turnover – by 4.4%.

In December 2021, compared to November, retail trade turnover, in calendar data at constant prices, increased by 7.2%. Compared to the previous month, the strongest growth in turnover was observed in the retail trade of clothing, footwear and leather goods (+68.9%), the retail trade of hardware, instruments, building materials and sanitary equipment (+30.7%) and the retail trade of cultural items. and leisure goods (29.1%). The greatest decline in turnover was recorded in retail sales via mail order houses or via the Internet (by 17.6%).

In December 2021, compared to November, the total retail turnover at current prices, without taking seasonality into account, increased by 22.1%.
