Statistics: retail turnover up nearly 20% year-on-year to September | news

Online and mail-order stores saw the strongest growth, at 49%, among stores selling manufactured goods, while stores selling housewares and appliances, hardware and building materials grew. also recorded an above-average growth rate of 35%.

Grocery store sales were up 6% year-on-year through September, and 7% at companies engaged in automotive fuel retailing.

Between August and September this year, the turnover of retail businesses increased by 3%, or 6% according to data adjusted for seasonal variations and working days.

From January to September 2021, the turnover of retail businesses increased by 11% year on year.
