Retail trade volume up 0.3% YoM in Eurozone and EU in July 2022

Among the Member States for which data are available, the highest monthly increases in total retail trade volume were recorded in Germany (+1.9%), the Netherlands (+1.7%), Luxembourg and in Poland (+1.5% each). The largest decreases were observed in Austria (-1.8 percent), Finland (-1.7 percent) and Spain (-1 percent).

The largest annual declines in total retail trade volume were recorded in Denmark (-7.7 percent), Luxembourg (-6.3 percent) and Ireland (-5.6 percent). The highest increases were observed in Slovenia (+25 percent), Malta (+9 percent) and Poland (+7.6 percent).
