Prince Real Estate Group, Malaysia Retail Chain Association and Malaysian Business Chamber of Cambodia signed the tripartite MoU on September 6.

During the event, the Group concluded a tripartite memorandum of understanding with the MRCA and the Malaysian Chamber of Cambodia, in the presence of Cheuy Vichet, Ambassador of Cambodia to Malaysia. The MoU encourages investment in the Kingdom, particularly in the retail sector, by helping interested Malaysian companies to grow in Cambodia through knowledge sharing and providing data-driven insights.
The business matchmaking event is part of Prince Real Estate’s efforts to strengthen its expansion strategies through foreign investment, in line with the Group’s vision to transform the retail industry in Cambodia by bringing more regional brands to complement local players.
“Cambodia is an investment-friendly country with three main pull factors: Cambodian law allows 100% foreign ownership of a business, there are no capital controls, and the Kingdom is a dollarized economy” , said Edward.
Prince Real Estate is relaunching gradual expansion, seeing a return to normalcy after the Cambodian economy opened up earlier this year. The Group launched its first open-concept shopping mall, Prince Times Square, in June this year. Prince Real Estate is also launching its flagship project – the Prince International Plaza, at the end of Q4 2022.
