Auto retailers and industry suppliers hailed Automotive Management Live as “a big success” after crowds returned to the NEC to meet in person.

Exhibitors, speakers and visitors took to social media to celebrate the event’s return to physical form after it was temporarily transformed into a virtual offering due to 2020 COVID-19 restrictions.

AM News and Editor Tom Sharpe said: “It was a fantastic day. There was such a buzz of activity around the room that it was clear everyone was thrilled to be back.

“After such a long period of very limited networking, it was great to be able to meet so many familiar faces and start forging new relationships again.”

In an event punctuated by packed theatrical performances and bustling booths, Sound Marketing was quick to circle the show by doing a roundup on its Twitter account.

Marketing Delivery Managing Director Jeremy Evans took a selfie with Facebook’s Anita Fox to show the crowd gathered for their presentation.

A and after the National Franchised Dealer’s Association (NFDA) took the time to discuss the impact of electric vehicles and the block exemption – the subject of its recent responses to the Competition Authority’s consultation and market – reps also took the time to acknowledge what had been a “great day”.
