HCM CITY – The Department of Industry and Commerce in HCM City has asked major fuel traders and distributors to ensure sufficient supplies of gasoline and diesel to meet demand and prevent illegal hoarding by gas stations .
He called on people’s committees at all levels to closely monitor fuel traders and distributors and promptly punish those who hoard and commit other violations.
Sanctions would be publicized in the media to deter others, he said.
He said gasoline dealers and retailers should file a complaint with her if they face a fuel supply disruption.
